Photoshop for the Black and White Photographer. three 2-hour classes.
There is more to creating black and white photographs from digital files than just pushing the gray mode button in Photoshop. Learn tricks and secrets to better B&W photographs. Adjust tonalities, dodge and burn, sharpen, add subtle color tones to mimic traditional methods.


Printing Silver Prints from Digital Negatives: time and dates TBD based on students availability (18 hours)
This workshop (based on the book by Dan Burkholder) will teach techniques for printing silver-gelatin prints from large format paper negatives created with Photoshop and ink jet printers. This is a method that many world-famous photographers are using to create better black and white photographs using modern technologies. For the photographer with advanced experience.
